Located on the Southside of the Kennebec, just across the Old Railroad Bridge from Downtown Skowhegan on Mount Pleasant Avenue, the Debe Park was reserved in memory of Peter & Ersilia Debe in 1987.

The pictures below preview the simple trails and coolness of the Kennebec River on a hot summer's day.  We followed the trail to the Canoe Portage which is located at the eastern end of the Avenue.  One could spend a lengthy visit and still not explore each and every trail to the rocky banks of the Kennebec.
