SKOWHEGAN, MAINE Skowhegan Savings is pleased to announce that Michael Pietroski has joined the bank’s commercial lending team as a vice president and commercial lender. He comes to the bank with over 12 years of experience in business lending and customer service in the financial sector, having been a business banker, vice president retail regional manager and branch manager in prior positions.
“Mike is an experienced commercial lender, who is passionate about helping his customers achieve their financial goals,” said Steve Thomas, senior vice president and senior commercial lender. “His addition will enhance our team's commitment to offering outstanding personalized service and hands-on support to local businesses.”
Pietroski will be based out of the bank’s Augusta branch and looks to use his extensive experience to focus on assisting business customers in the greater Kennebec County region with their banking needs.

Pietroski grew up in the Augusta area and obtained his bachelors in business administration from Husson University. Active in his community, he is a board member of the Auburn Business Association, recent graduate of the Kennebec Leadership Institute 2.0 and volunteers for the Special Olympics. Pietroski lives in Winthrop with his wife and daughter.
